The Scholarship Finalist
The Challenge
Max Fenton, a rising star in the Fiesta Junior ranks, was heading into the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Scholarship. At this level, speed is only half the battle; the ability to represent yourself and your sponsors in front of a camera is what decides the winner.
Max needed to move from “nervous teenager” to “confident brand ambassador” in a single session.
The Solution: 1-1 Media Intensive
We conducted a focused 1-1 media training session ahead of the scholarship. We didn’t focus on “scripts”—we focused on Authenticity.
Key Training Pillars:
- The ‘Why’ Statement: Teaching Max to explain why he races without relying on “I’ve loved cars since I was 3.”
- Handling Pressure: Mock interviews and rapid-fire questioning to simulate the scholarship environment.
- The Camber Hook: Identifying one unique trait about Max that makes him memorable to a judge or sponsor.
The Result
Following our session, Max competed in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Scholarship. His composure and professionalism both on and off the track saw him secure a place in the Final.
“The work we did with Max proved that confidence is a skill you can train. Seeing him handle the scholarship pressure with such poise was a massive win for his 2025 season preparations.”
